Candidate Bio - Mark Iken
OwnerThe Iken’s have lived in Rivermist since 1999. Mark Iken has lived in Lilburn, for all but a few years, since 1976. Mark and Rebecca have raised two terrific children, Connor and Gabe, while living in the neighborhood.
Mark is a graduate of Brookwood HS, a Rotarian, and is currently the Vice President for Educational Technology and Chief Information Officer at Georgia Gwinnett College. He earned his doctorate in physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously he has served in numerous roles at Georgia Tech including: Director of Information Technology for the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Director of the Georgia Tech Scientific Visualization Laboratory, instructor and researcher in the School of Physics, and in the Georgia Tech Research Institute’s microwave systems division.
